Bill Daly is a long-time veteran of the fire services. He began his journey in the fire services while still in high school where he served as a volunteer Fire Fighter.

After high school, he attended a year at Bate Vocational Technical Fire Service training before beginning work at South Kitsap Fire & Rescue. He spent 23 years at South Kitsap, where he served his community as an EMT Fire Fighter. He was promoted to Lieutenant Fire Fighter and also served as Acting Battle Chief before retiring in 1997.
Bill also made use of his vast knowledge and experience by serving as an Instructor at the State Fire Academy in 1985 and again in 1995. He also earned his Fire Instructor National Certification in 1995.

Now putting his talents to work for Olympic College, Bill serves as the Maintenance Mechanic for the Readiness Response Institute. In this capacity, he helps to provide quality onsite training to emergency responders by maintaining our dynamic and unique facility and equipment.
